Dear Amazing CalfPRO® Backers! ✨
This is a half update because I just wanted to keep you in the loop with any new information coming out of the factory.
The new tooling is complete for the revised, softer heel pad and some pictures are coming through showing the extent of the honing and adjustment necessary to make a perfect CalfPRO® model. Check out the multiple runs in the background!
White used to perfect the heel pad and improve ease of blemish inspection.
In addition to almost finalizing the model, the instruction manual has also been completed.
The brochure depicts basic setup and also illustrates the appropriate "3 step technique" to maximize your stretch on the CalfPRO®.
It looks like we have the right recipe now and there should be a full update as soon as next week displaying the final sample model in full color and perfect texture! ?

As you know from my last update, the transition from hand made, factory prototype to high volume, injection molded production unit was more complicated than expected. A minor issue with this sample was color. Even though we have already chosen the perfect Pantone it has been difficult to match colors throughout the model. It looks like we have found a solution and we should be on track to deliver the perfect color match for the final sample.
I am committed to ensuring that your CalfPRO® not only provides the world’s deepest leveraged calf stretch, but also looks and feels like a quality product.
Because of these delays the production timeline has been pushed back and shipping is now estimated for October instead of September. I can assure you, delays are never fun, and no one wants to see the CalfPRO® come to life more than this wonderful CalfPRO® community. I am continually grateful for your ongoing messages of support and encouragement. You are a special group of health aware and physically proactive individuals. I am sincerely honored and excited to be a part of your personal health journey’s.

First of all it’s clear from all of your messages today that you are super excited to get your CalfPRO® ASAP. Thank you for your awesome enthusiasm!
Here’s the latest:
The second production sample was perfect except for one major issue and one minor issue.
As you know the CalfPRO® can be used with “shoes on” or “shoes off”. In terms of its use and function, for “shoe on” it’s pretty much ready to go! ?
However the deepest stretch and the magic of the CalfPRO® is experienced shoe off.
"Shoes Off"
The Heel pad material was too hard in the last sample, so we needed to try different materials to improve the softness of the heel pad for “shoes off” stretching. This has been the cause of the bulk of the delay because we have been experimenting with different materials which required changes in molding and tooling! Yes, we needed to redesign a portion of the tooling which has caused a further delay whilst making the new tool. This was not an issue with the prototype because a handmade heel pad was used. For large scale production different materials are required and this has been one of the problems with the transition from prototype to full scale production. Unlike a desk, cable or other products, the CalfPRO® needs to work when pressing firmly up against the human body, so it needs to be both functional and comfortable even when applying hundreds of pounds of stretching force through the back of the heel bone.
Above all I want you to be comfortable.

There has been only one delay due to COVID factory closures since the last update and provided the factory stays open and the next production sample is within quality control specifications, the factory will immediately begin full scale production of your CalfPRO® units.
Because of these delays the production timeline has been pushed back and shipping is now estimated for October instead of September. I can assure you, delays are never fun, and no one wants to see the CalfPRO® come to life more than this wonderful CalfPRO® community. The second production sample is on it’s way to me. I am excited to send you pics provided all of the first round defects have been resolved.
As you know from my last update, the transition from hand made, factory prototype to high volume, injection molded production unit was more complicated than expected. I want to ensure that your CalfPRO® not only provides the world’s deepest leveraged calf stretch, but also looks and feels like quality.
The first sample took a lot longer than expected due to COVID factory closures, but provided the factory stays open and the second production sample is within quality control specifications, the factory will immediately begin full scale production of your CalfPRO® units.
Because of these delays the production timeline has been pushed back and shipping is now estimated for September instead of August. I am grateful for your ongoing messages of support and encouragement. You are a wonderful community of savvy, health conscious individuals and I am both excited and honored to be a part of your personal health journey’s.

Dear Amazing CalfPRO® Backers! ✨
I realize it has been quite a while since my last update, so I wanted to catch you up on the developments thus far.
The first production sample was delivered from the factory! I looks great except for some minor cosmetic issues which are being corrected.
Structurally and functionally The CalfPRO® passed quality control standards by a long shot. In fact it's so strong I could probably drive the front tire of our family SUV onto the ramp! (Still considering making that video for you).
I tested it and sure enough, the heel locks well and with a push of my hip to the wall, bam! The world's deepest calf stretch ✅
Basically to transition from a hand made prototype to a high volume injection molded model the CalfPRO® developed marks and lines from the injection molding process. I am working with the factory to hide or completely eliminate these lines so that the beauty and simplicity of the model will be retained.
Provided these issues are resolved quickly and there are no other unexpected delays we should still be on track for late August delivery.

Thank you for your patience, I am pleased to announce that production is coming along smoothly and we are on schedule!!
This is what has been happening since our last update:
The molds were being tested, producing the main ramp and base pieces. Various types of ABS are being used to get exactly the right strength and luster. This is very important. Not only do I want the CalfPRO® to have a smooth matte, quality finish, I also want it to be strong enough to be dropped or thrown without sustaining even a scratch.
The over-molds have also been produced. In addition to making the body parts, we also need molds to form the softer areas on the CalfPRO®.
The CalfPRO® will be able to deliver hundreds of pounds of calf stretching force through it’s unique design, anchoring the heel and lengthening the calf. In order to do this the body of the device must make firm contact with the back of your heel. This can be a sensitive location, even without inflammation, the back of the heel has limited skin thickness or fat pad protection. This is why getting the heel pad density correct is a critical step in the development of this unique health maintenance tool. We are working on perfecting this soft but durable component currently and when I have pics of the over molding complete I will send them through in the next update.
I am also making a video just for YOU. Before your CalfPRO® is delivered, I want you to know exactly how to use it in your home, so I’m putting together a tips and tricks video. The video will show you not only how I use the CalfPRO® in my office, but also a full calf release treatment you can try at home!
You are a unique and special group of people who not only understand the problem CalfPRO® is solving, you also understand without even trying and feeling, the surprising stretching force this great tool will provide. You guys are going to feel immediate relief, improvement in your mobility and more spring in your performance.
